Rick Stein coined the phrase ‘Food Heroes’ back in 2002 with his book of the same name. The term has developed a lot since then to mean different things to different people.

But whether your ultimate food hero is your Mum or Jamie Oliver or Yotam Ottolenghi or Lee Westcott (at the Typing Room) we can all agree that our nation is jam-packed with pioneers who are doing very important things with what we eat.

We like to work with champions of good food. From pop-ups like Mazi Mas who are pushing what it means to be a restaurant; to local producers like Veggies Galore and Doddington Dairy, who are upholding epicurean traditions and maintaining the standard of produce in the UK.

We are determined to play our part in assisting innovators who are putting the UK on the global food map, whilst staying true to an ethos of sustainability and eco-awareness.
