Bill Dodd FCA
Bill leads the creative arts and accounting departments of Christian Dodd and has a wide experience of working with and supporting artists and creative people around the world in interesting and diverse circumstances.
Throughout his career he has worked whole heartedly with established artists and creative people and in mentoring and supporting young entrepreneurs in developing self-belief, business awareness and commercial understanding. He is famously enthused by clients and their businesses and naturally focuses on the creative spirit and energy of the people involved.
During his long career he has worked very successfully with individuals and companies both nationally and cross-borders developing creative and arts projects for specific marketplaces and opportunities.
Apart from his work with Christian Dodd, Bill is currently Director of Carte Blanche Greetings Group of Companies and Director and co-founder of NB21C.UK Limited.
Giles Storey FCA
Giles and Bill Dodd have worked together for 30 years and co-founded Christian Douglass, Chartered Accountants in Manchester in 2002
Giles gained an Economics Degree from the University of London and qualified with Deloittes. He is a Corporate Tax Adviser, Chartered Tax Adviser and Commercial Strategist. Giles has huge experience of planning within the realms of both the strategic commercial opportunities and the structure and jurisdiction confines of companies, group of companies and their shareholders and individual taxpayers including overseas matters.
Alongside this strategic tax advice and planning for companies and individuals for companies, Giles provides advice to shareholders and directors on personal tax planning strategies and capital tax issues, in order to ensure that their own individual tax affairs are structured correctly, alongside their corporate interests.
David Taylor FCA
David has been the Senior Manager in Christian Dodd for more than 10 years working with Bill Dodd very closely on very many projects and most other aspects of our work. He qualified with Price Waterhouse and then worked with Coopers and Lybrand in senior financial and management roles.
He intrinsically understands and shares the vision and working ‘spirit’ of Christian Dodd and is the lynchpin of our accounting and management support functions. He is client focused and really enjoys working closely with them in developing the financial systems within their businesses necessary to unlock potential and maximise opportunities. He is uniquely adept in the use and development of cloud-based systems and solutions and the quick resolutions of problems and frustrations.
Alexandra Haygarth ACA
Alexandra has worked with Christian Dodd for 5 years, training with us and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant.
She has a broad range of financial experience in both business and practice through her time in industry and her journey with Christian Dodd. Her role with us has developed dramatically; from initially processing VAT returns and payrolls to now controlling overall workflow and managing her own portfolio of clients.
Alexandra is our inhouse Cloud Accounting Expert and has thorough working knowledge of most cloud-based accounting systems including Xero, Quickbooks, Sage etc. She works enthusiastically with clients to resource the best systems for their needs and to oversee the installations and work with them and their staff, during the implementation phases.
Her strong work ethic and bright personality make her a very popular member of staff and a joy for clients to work with.
